Hi all,

i'm start using Courier-mta in the last few days, initially courier-0-43-1 and today i
made an upgrade to courier-0-45-4 because of this problem but
the situation is still the same.

The problem is introduced when i try to send an e-mail (using OLExpress) with an PDF
attachment that was made by Acrobat Distiller and that contain
some custom text and images.
OLExpress attach it as "quoted-printable", rather than base64 as it happens with
others PDF file, and when courier sees it, performs an X-Mime-Autoconvertion
from "quoted-printable" to "quoted-printable" that make it unreadable at all with "too few
operands" and other error messages by Acrobat Reader.
However when i try to sent that attach through others MTAs it will be delivered
without problems and without reconvertion.

Now i have two questions:

- why Courier-mta perform a reconversion? and why from "quoted-printable" to "quoted-printable" ??

More than likely because the original message is not properly MIME-encoded.

- is there something to do to disable this feature or to disallow this behavior ?

Fix the mail client.
