Hi!

I am using courier as my MTA and maildropfilter to filter unwanted
messages. I noticed a problem with the echolot package in Debian.
echolot is installed in a directory that has the sgid bit set.
maildrop refuses this and the sender gets an error message, that the
echolot home directory would have world writeable permissions (it
hasn't).
So I am not sure what of the following is true:
- I am wrong and the permissions "drwxrwsr-x" are really world
  writeable.
- There is an other security problem with this permissions and maildrop
is using a wrong error message.
- Maildrop is wrong in detecting this problem.

Happy easter
    Matthias
