Thanks David and Bowie for the quick replies. I had added the domain to the localy hosted but not the esmtp mail acceptance. So it is now working. Is anyone aware of a script that will easily add a new user.
I am using the page: http://dantams.sdf-eu.org/guides/obsd_courier_imap.html to go by but the example script doesn't account for placing the user account in a specfic domain. The exact comannds i'm using are: /usr/lib/courier/sbin/userdb "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" set home=/home/vmail mail=/home/vmail/domains/visionquestfarm.com/testing uid=514 gid=514 then /usr/lib/courier/sbin/userdbpw | /usr/lib/courier/sbin/userdb "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" set imappw finally /usr/lib/courier/sbin/makeuserdb -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David Newall Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 12:34 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [courier-users] 513 relaying denied only for local hosted domain On Wed, 2004-04-14 at 23:22, Bowie Bailey wrote: > From: Stephen Reese [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > I can send mail anywhere from the locally hosted domain. What happens when you try? What does the maillog say? I think he said that he gets "513 relaying denied". You probably haven't included your domain in etc/esmtpacceptmailfor.dir and/or etc/local. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
