Hi all!

I'm using authmysql to authorize SMTP connections. Mails for users that are in the database will be accepted. Now I tried to send a mail to somebody@<domain2> but the system answers "550 User unknown".

In /etc/courier/aliases/users I've added a line like this:
@<domain2>: user@<domain1>

I've called makealiases. Also postmaster@<domain2> and so on does not work for this and all other domains hosted on the server, except the first primary domain <domain1>!!?? Messages for user@<domain1> will be accepted.

What's wrong. For me, it seems as if the smtp daemon uses the aliases database only for the default domain but not for others. I've read the manual in http://www.courier-mta.org/makealiases.html. Did I forgot something?

Thanks
Thoralf
