How many mail servers or clients that talk SMTP will continue a session after a 412 error? Are they required to by RFC? Squirrelmail aborts with an error and "Unknown Response". ssmtp likewise aborts. Will courier get past this point? I can force the issue if I'm talking SMTP directly to the server, but it seems that at least some corresponding clients will abort a session if they receive any response from the server is _other_ than a 200 class response. -- Lindsay Haisley | "Everything works | PGP public key FMP Computer Services | if you let it" | available at 512-259-1190 | (The Roadie) | <http://www.fmp.com/pubkeys> http://www.fmp.com | | ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: SourceForge.net Broadband Sign-up now for SourceForge Broadband and get the fastest 6.0/768 connection for only $19.95/mo for the first 3 months! http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=2562&alloc_id=6184&op=click _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
