What's the difference? What makes a maildirmake (from courier) maildir different from a directory with new,cur,tmp dirs in it?
It creates a dummy file, maildirfolder. So when deliverquota is used to deliver to a subfolder, it sees the dummy file and knows to update the quota in the parent directory, and not this one.
