Hi all!
I installed courier ver. 0.45.4 on Red-Hat 7.2 with MySQL authentication but I have
some problems sending mail. SMTP server responds with "450 Service temporarily
unavailable"
After installation I made following steps:
As root:
mkdir -p /posta/roberto
/courier/bin/maildirmake /posta/roberto/Maildir
chown -R 5000:5000 /posta/roberto
MySQL insert:
mysql> select * from mailbox;

In courier FAQ I found this:
Q: Server is not accepting any mail, returns a 450 Service unavailable error every
time.
* You are using a database-based back-end, such as LDAP or MySQL, and the
back-end server is down.
* You are using authdaemon, and the authdaemond process is not running.
But MySQL is working...
