Based on the error message, this may have nothing to do with hosteddomains. If you have "BOFHCHECKDNS=1" in /etc/courier/esmtpd, then Courier will do a DNS lookup on the return domain. In this case, if "letuffe.org" does not exist (which it does not appear to from here), Courier will reject the message. If you want Courier to accept mail with bad return addresses, change this setting to "BOFHCHECKDNS=0" and restart esmtpd. > > Note that restarting courier-mta solves the problem ( by reloading > it's data I suppose.)
