I use fetchmail to get mails from an external POP account and deliver it to my courier installation in regular intervals.
When an errornous mail is fetched which is rejected by courier (e.g. the header size is too big, ...), fetchmail does not delete the mail from the server, and the same mail is refetched during the next poll. (And then: same procedure as last fetch)
This will lead to unneseccary traffic, till i delete the mail manually from the external POP server.
Is it possible to configure fetchmail, that it markes the errornous mail as READ (on the server), so fetchmail will not fetch this mail again ?
So i could check my external POP server once a month and delete the messages marked as read.
