I am new to Courier; much is working in my "qmail-toaster" test setup, but I am stuck trying to get quotas to work. I am using qmail-toaster 3.42 and "deliverquota" from courier-imap-3.0.2 on current hardware with freebsd 4.9

"maildirsize" and ".qmail" are setup in the users vpopmail area when I use the account setup with Qmailadmin, all with appropriate values/permissions as per configuration. .qmail uses maildrop and a filter that delivers mail with
/usr/local/bin/maildrop /usr/local/etc/mail/mailfilter
Mail is delivered, spam is sorted, delivery is logged in the maildrop
log. The command used by the filter.
/usr/local/bin/deliverquota -w 90 $VHOME/Maildir

The "maildirsize" is updated on delivery, and Qmailadmin shows an accurate and updated space-used value. It's just that the value in my test account is well over quota and I keep being able to deliver mail. If I test delivering mail by hand (above command), it delivers mail, returns code "0" (and updates "maildirsize").

  > cat $VDHOME/Maildir/maildirsize
  10485760
  13585157 3
      5490 1

Note delivery when user is well over quota.

Any suggestions on where to look are greatly appreciated. Thanks for
the help.
