This only applies to the stand-alone version of sqwebmail, which is at version 4.0.5. > I am running SqWebmail ver. 0.45.4-1 (the version number taken from the > Courier-mta package) on Debian Sarge. > > How can I set the hostname (or where is the correct placement of hostname > file on my system)? Right, so you appear to be using the sqwebmail that is integrated into courier. In that case, the domain name for messages created by webmail are determined by the value of /path/to/courier/etc/defaultdomain. Since this is debian, I will guess that the config files are in /etc/courier, so you need to set up /etc/courier/defaultdomain. -- Anand Buddhdev Celtel International ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
