I must be doing something wrong.
Mail works, but if I remove authpam from authmodulelist in authdaemonrc, then logins fail and mail is broken.
Here is my configuration.
LDAP_SERVER server LDAP_PORT 389 LDAP_BASEDN dc=server,dc=ldap,dc=server LDAP_BINDDN cn=Manager, dc=server, dc=ldap, dc=server LDAP_BINDPW xxxxxxxxx LDAP_TIMEOUT 15 LDAP_AUTHBIND 1 LDAP_MAIL mail LDAP_HOMEDIR homeDirectory LDAP_DEFAULTDELIVERY defaultDelivery LDAP_FULLNAME cn LDAP_CRYPTPW userPassword LDAP_DEREF never LDAP_TLS 0
