Hello,
Can someone point me in the right direction here?
I'm running Courier 0.45.6 on a FC2 system using MySQL Authentication. I'm hosting several domains, and one of them is considered the "local domain" in Courier's eyes.
In order to manage mail aliases, I create a file for each domain in /etc/courier/aliases, and enter the aliase definitions for that domain therein. So, for example, my /etc/courier/aliases dir contains:
system hosteddomain1.com hosteddomain2.com
and so on.
I tried to create a new file, for the local domain, and placed alias definitions in there, but I was unable to get this to work properly. I created (for example) a localdomain.com file, and put the following entry in it:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and then ran makealiases. However, email to this new alias is bounced "User Unknown"... I also tried using the webadmin interface to create the alias, which yielded a webadmin file in the aliases dir containing pretty much the same thing, but still to no avail.
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, any chance someone could point me the right way?
Thanks a bunch!
