Hello,
I have installed Courier-imapd and postfix on Mandrake 10 using rpms. Postfix appears to be working fine since the smtp server is working. Courier IMAP is not able to authenticate users via IMAP. I wish to authenticate via the /etc/passwd file. Authdaemon is running and this is the info from the authdaemonrc file.

authmodulelist="authpwd authshadow authcram authuserdb authldap authpgsql authmysql authpam"
The path is /etc/courier/.authdaemonrc
When I run /usr/bin/courier-imap-authinfo
AUTHENTICATION_MODULES="authdaemon"
AUTHDAEMONMODULELIST="authcustom authcram authmysql authpgsql authldap authuserdb authpam"
SASL_AUTHENTICATION_MODULES="CRAM-SHA1 CRAM-MD5 PLAIN LOGIN"
This is from /etc/courier/imapd #
AUTHMODULES="authdaemon"
I do not know where the system is picking the authmodule list from and there is no authpwd or authshadow . I do not have the other modules installed as this mail server will be used by less than 10 users.
Is there anything else I am missing.
