Right. Robert responded to me privately and pointed me to this. I took a look through the code, and installed it on my 0.46 installation. Works well so long as its sorting facility is turned off. Sorting was provided to assist in validating the results, but in fact in my installation it causes lookups to fail in some cases. I haven't measured (nor reasoned about) its time efficiency, but my mail server isn't anywhere near bogged down so that isn't a priority for me at present.
