Why I need this? My mail-server only forwards mail from the intranet to my ISP's smtp server (that is, I have a default smarthost to smtp.isp.com), since my IP is in a DUP range. The ISP has decided to require smtp authentication from all its users in order to avoid spam sent from infected hosts etc. So I would like courier to authenticate itself against smtp.isp.com using the credentials gotten from my ISP.
Thanks, Tom
PS - have been running courier for years, it met all my needs, and never had any trouble - great job!
