I have been struggling the last day with this. I would like to recieve all emails sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and all should be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] How should I do?
1. echo "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" >> /etc/courier/hosteddomains/webadminUh, no. First of all, webadmin will clobber your file next time you run it. Secondly, that's the wrong syntax for hosteddomans -- you want just the domain name, no prepended "alias@".
hmm, yes realized that after reading a little bit
2. create an account called [EMAIL PROTECTED]Sure, that works.
3. echo "|| dotforward" > /home/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/.courier-default
4. echo "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" > /home/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/.forward
That is extremely convoluted; it would be far simpler to just put [EMAIL PROTECTED] into /home/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/.courier.
agree. do you mean filename .courier. ?
HOWEVER... you could avoid steps 2, 3 and 4 altogether by simply putting "@virtualdomain.tld: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" into /etc/courier/ aliases.
That was my first shot, but it didn't work.
However it works now with 1..4 method but preferable I would like to just use the aliases.
