So the other MTAs allow you do something that's prohibited in SMTP. That doesn't mean that Courier will also let you get away with an invalid end-of-line termination sequence.
Ah, cool! PEBKAC... I read about Courier's manner of letting its lusers/admins stay overwhelmed with cat shit when they don't have the clue to use it! I like that programs although I myself sometimes step into such situations...
