Bad news: after the latest updates (U4), this has now propagated to RHEL.
Good news: they released an errata rpm for FC2 that fixes this, so eventually RHEL should also get it, eventually.
Good to see that they backed from that WORKSFORME. Just to help things along, I just added a comment to RH-bugzilla #139460. Prayer might help even more ;)
