I've updated my courier virus filter, adding the ability to exempt specific filetype attachments for specific recipients (e.g. for people who want to receive .zip files but want all other filtering in place).
This filter is written in perl and uses the perlfilter facility included in Courier. It requires perl modules MIME::parser and IO::file. It's probably been superceded by other filtering technologies in the years since I originally wrote it, but it's been running without a glitch on a production machine for several years.
