I had the same problem a while back with a couple of other lists, one a gentoo list and one on sourceforge. Seems they were using servers in Italy which had been compromised and were being used to send out spam. The listings were with SpamCop, which I had to remove from my mix of advisory blacklists. I'd had trouble with them before.
Usually the listing service replies to a TXT query with a URL that shows up in logs, and one can go to the URL and find out how to contest a listing.
All mailinglists end up on one or the other blocklist one day or the other. As mailinglists also tend to switch mailservers once in a while:
a) It's whack-a-mole. Keep an eye on your logs and whitelist when it happens.
b) Whitelist broadly. It is unlikely that there is a spammer in the same /24 as the mailinglistserver, but it is much ore likely there are multiple mailinglistservers, or the IP changes inside this /24 when new hardware is brought in.
