A while ago in the thread "Aliases (ldap)", I said that I could no longer loop aliases. You replied that that had never been possible and I thought you know best, I must be mistaken, although I could swear that those looped aliases of mine used to work.
In the meanwhile I got confirmation from someone else running into the same problem: his looped aliases worked and now they don't, as of 48.2. On LDAP, he too.
I have a long list of domains in 'esmtpacceptmailfor' and a somewhat shorter list in 'hosteddomains', but no 'me' and no 'locals' at all. All domains are virtual (therefore no 'locals'), courier takes its 'me' from a lookup of itself, and that hostname is neither in 'hosteddomains' nor in 'esmtpacceptmailfor'; it is namely a "no mail for me, thank you" hostname.
Could this mapping of local domains to 'me' could be an explanation to the problem?
