I know my problem with Webadmin now, but don't know the best fix. Apache is running the cgi-bin as nobody, but the files it needs to access and update are all owned by courier. Many do not permit group access. The Perl script for webadmin refuses to accept a password file with any group access. I've verified this is the problem by temporarily changing some file permissions and ownerships, allowing access into only those areas of the program.
What is the recommended fix for this? I don't see any suggestions in the documentation.
From INSTALL:
1. Move /usr/lib/courier/libexec/courier/webmail/webadmin to your web server's SSL cgi-bin directory. Take care to preserve the binary's ownership and permissions.
Webadmin is originally installed in this location suid-root.
