When I set my locales back to en_US it starts work corectly. Maybe locales should be set in the authsystem.passwd script ?
Run a quick test for me. In authsystem.passwd:
spawn "/usr/bin/passwd"
Put right before this line:
set env(LC_ALL) "en_us"
Yes it works. Maybe it's good idea to add this line to package.
