Hi,

I've never configured SPF, I don't even know if my version of courier
supports SPF (I'm using 0.44.2)

A client is having some trouble when using authenticated smtp. The server on
the other end is complaining about SPF records, I get this bounce:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
(reason: 550 SPF NONE, if sender valid send to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] more info see
http://mail.joimail.com/allow.htm)

One of the steps in the instructions says to add SPF records to "allow your
IP address to send email for that domain". I'm not sure what that means...
the user is already using authenticated smtp, so I'm not restricting by IP.
Do I need to add the user's domain(s) in some config file in order to make
this work?

How do I avoid having the messages bounce?

Thanks for your help.
Ricardo
