For the archives, then: Thunderbird's default configuration will work, and will store both sent mail and drafts on the server, in the proper places. If you set "IMAP server directory" to "INBOX", Thunderbird will also display folders immediately under the "INBOX" namespace at the same level as the "Inbox" folder in the folder list.
