Hi all,
Running: courier 0.51
I have a machine that hosts a number of virtual domains. Using a global
filter (clamcour/ClamAV) all incoming mail is scanned for virusses and
denied if one is found.
Next the mail gets delivered by Couriers maildrop (is fed through
Spamassasin and then delivered to the virtual users's inbox or a
separate spam dir for that user (both Maildir)).
What I need to do now, is move some of the virtual domains to different
machines. I still want the original machine to be the primary MX for all
the domains and have AV/Spam scanning.
I could do that by simply having Courier take the mail as usual and then
route it on using smtproutes, but then it will not be scanned by
Spamassassin. Using a global filter for Spamassasin won't work, because
I need to tag the mail as possible spam and then deliver it anyway.
Does anyone know how to set up this "scanning gateway scenario"?
By the way, I've tried using qmail-style virtual domains; having Courier
deliver the mail to a local account (so I can use maildrop and thus
Spamassassin) and then trying to forward it using dynamic
delivery/.courier, but then Courier doesn't take in to account the
smtproutes; the mail will route back to Courier, creating a loop.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Vincent.
