You seem to have a cron job from root trying to get its time from the
Internet but for some reason...
> | rdate: Temporary failure in name resolution: ptbtime2.ptb.de
.....the name ptbtime2.ptb.de does not resolve.
How can I solv this?
There are several ways... Edit the crontab for every machine (you might
have a /etc/cron.d/rdate file instead of a normal crontab -e -u root)
and setup a valid rdate server.
Or you could have an internal dns entry resolving ptbtime2.ptb.de to a
valid rdate server. Not very clean but you would have to do it only once
for all the (current and future) machines.
