The esmtp module is the outbound delivery module, which is distinct from courieresmtpd, which accepts inbound SMTP messages.I start courier-authdaemond.sh manualy and then courier.sh and the "ABNORMAL TERMINATION" disappear. But I still have a problem : courieresmtp is started but nobody is listening on port 25
I don't believe that there's any file called "courier-authdaemond.sh", nor "courier.sh" in any of the tarballs that you can download from http://www.courier-mta.org/download.php You must've either written those scripts yourself, or obtained them from someplace else. How exactly do you expect anyone here to figure out what's the problem with a startup script that nobody here has seen, or has any idea what it contains?
