Hi,

Whenever I change

DEFAULTDELIVERY=./.maildir

to

DEFAULTDELIVERY="| /usr/bin/maildrop"

in the courierd config file I start getting errors in the logs.
First it's 'Invalid home directory permissions - world writable.' - even
though the directory does not have the writebit set (only read and list)
this one is easily fixed by 'chmod o= $HOME' or 'chmod 770 $HOME' which
ever your preference is.
But it is when this is done the annoying error comes - namely '456
Address temporary unavailable.' and then the mail is not accepted.

Anyone know why this error occurs, and perhaps how to solve it?

This is backscatter suppression. See INSTALL.
