32-bit archs can only do up to 2 gig quotas. If you're not on a 64-bit platform, you'll have to either knock that back some or remove it entirely. > Could has > having been over quota have caused a backscatter issue? When local delivery fails a certain number of times, Courier will start sending "456 Temporary failure" in respons to any more incoming mail for that user, this prevents an overquota account from filling up the spool also. Fix the quota issue with local delivery and then run: /path/to/courier clear [EMAIL PROTECTED] delivery should start working for that user again, without the courier clear, it would normally take an hour or two for Courier to realize local delivery was working and begin accepting external mail for the user again.
