Weird. The entire build directory should have just been removed a
few lines earlier...
So it is, %{__mkdir_p} $RPM_BUILD_ROOT{etc} remakes it :)
Yes, creating an empty dir. "ln" erred on an existing *file*.
The line: "cp -pr $RPM_BUILD_DIR/%{name}-%{version}/lib/.libs/*
$RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_libdir}" copies the files in question. rpmbuild (4.3)
on RHAS4 it doesn't seem to copy symlinks, whereas on RHAS3 (4.2) it does.
