No, not yet - actually, I did not receive any feedback on my announcement, 
yet. You are the first one. Meanwhile I learnt a bit more about port creation 
process and submitted a PR for this just a while before. You could look it at 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=91740
and if you will do any test, please post a followup so the port will be more 
mature/attracting commiters etc.
As a side note - I tested 0.52.2 too, PR available at 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=91741
