That's wrong. Courier-IMAP 3.08 is the standalone IMAP server, that
cannot be used with Courier, which has its own build of the IMAP

Courier-IMAp is 4.0.6. The current version of Courier is 0.52.2
Either upgrade to the current version of Courier, 0.52.2. Or, if you
need only the IMAP server, uninstall Courier and upgrade to
Courier-IMAP 4.0.6.
Thanks, while I am now going to experiment building from sources, does
anyone else have LDAP + LDAPquota working with Debian sarge? I am
trying to determine wether the above will fix my problem or I can
continue to use the current versions and fix the problem. If someone
else has it working, I will know either way. Not knowing if it is
Debian issue or my own config issue is eating at me :)
