My SquirrelMail plugin also works with postgresql though, IIRC, SpamAssassin 
only officially supports MySQL but I know from talking to others that pgsql 
works well enough.

There's also a stand alone PHP app for managing SQL settings. It's listed on 
the SpamAssassin Wiki somewhere.
