I would guess that the problem is with the MX hostname "-mforward.dtag.de". 
The log reference is to RFC 1035,  Sec 2.3.1 of this RFC states:

"The labels must follow the rules for ARPANET host names.  They must
start with a letter, end with a letter or digit, and have as interior
characters only letters, digits, and hyphen."

Courier can be very strict about such things.
