Yes, I put in the space after each colon and went through the same process again or removing the aliases.dat file and then running makealiases.

Did you try adding the space like I suggested?  The aliases should look like:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The forwards file that you posted did not contain the space.  I'm 95%
certain that is your problem.
