Quite without pain, takes a few minutes to compile the whole courier-suite just to get the fresh webmail package.
If you'd like to do it yourself you can find a good guide to pbuild-yourself here: http://familiasanchez.net/~roberto/howtos/debcustomize Of course you can just use the normal debian tools, but pbuilder doesn't leave loads of dev-packages on your system that you otherwise don't need. In both cases you can modify the configure script arguments in the debian/rules file of your unpacked source package. If you trust me I can give you my .deb which is based on the latest debian-security release. It allows attachments with up to 20971520 bytes. I also build courier 0.52.2 for sarge (that is the version currently in testing). I use it for my backup-mx because it suppresses backscatter. I'm not to keen to pass that one on, however, because I see some minor problems in the logs. When relaying a mail to the primary mx, and the recipient of the mail does not exist (spam), some pipe breaks (smtp client crash?). It does not seem to affect the functionality as legitimate mail goes through just fine but who knows what else is hiding in there. For just my secondary it is working great though.
