The problem is, that under "The Bat" but even with a fresh installed

Have you tried moving out/deleting all emails and then trying sending new
mails?
Did you try redoing the maildir directory?
Could be some corrupted file(s).
Just coming out of a HD crash and had several problems, one of which was
some corrupted files(s) which caused imapd to crash.
Have you looked at the maillog (or wherever you are pointing the pop3
server logs) to see if the server is dying?
You need to discover whether it is a problem with the server or the
client.
All other users in the network works fine, so I am guessing that its
a client problem. On the other hand it happen with two different
email clients, so I am a bit puzzled. Any help is appreciated.
I think it could be:
- Server is dying
- Client is dying
Until you can tell which one it is debugging is going to be pretty
difficult.
