Hi, Well I tried: ./configure CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB/include CCLD=/usr/local/bin/ld CXXLD=/usr/local/bin/ld
But ended up with the same result. I guess BillT is on the track the configure script writes the following: checking whether the gcc linker (/usr/ccs/bin/ld) supports shared libraries... yes checking whether -lc should be explicitly linked in... yes checking dynamic linker characteristics... solaris2.8 ld.so I guess its easier to change IMAP server than reinstalling/compiling my entire OS tools.... Try appending "CCLD=/path/to/gnu/ld" and "CXXLD=/path/to/gnu/ld" parameters to the configure script. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
