I have stumbled upon a strange problem with the Aliases list. I have an alias setup to send mail to several phones @messaging.sprintpcs.com. When the phones are grouped together in the alias list, they do not receive the correct FROM: information on the phone. I ran a TCPFlow on the mail sever and found this:
--Begin--

068.028.003.022.00025-192.168.001.101.36818:
250-clxipc6001-in.nmcc.sprintspectrum.com
250-8BITMIME
250 SIZE 2097152

192.168.001.101.36818-068.028.003.022.00025: MAIL FROM:<> BODY=7BIT SIZE=3798

068.028.003.022.00025-192.168.001.101.36818: 250 sender <> ok

192.168.001.101.36818-068.028.003.022.00025: RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

069.006.188.066.00025-192.168.001.101.35590: 250 Ok.

--End--
The MAIL FROM: Information is always emtpy when the message is being sent from
inside the Alias list. Now, if I create an alias that is just a one to one
alias, the FROM information is correct. This is only happening on One to Many
aliases and it seems to be happening with only the Sprint server. I have a
Cingular and Bell phone in the list as well and they both received the correct
FROM information.

Can anyone give me an idea as to what might be happening here? Is this a
courier bug or a Sprint problem?

Thank you,
-David Doan
