Hi,
I keep getting this message

   # Checking listening processes
NEW: --WARN-- [lin003w] The process `couriertcpd' is listening on socket
57123 (UDP on every interface) is run by courier.

It looks bogus (otherwise it would have been named `courierudpd', eh?)
I asked on other lists to no avail.
Debian Tiger gets that data from lsof.

Has anyone else seen this? Any clue?

This is utterly bogus. couriertcpd does not listen on any UDP socket. The only thing I can think of is that ident queries are UDP packets, and couriertcpd is waiting to receive a response to an ident query, for a short period of time. In any case, this is sheer nonsense.
