Hi. A quick test shows that Courier does this without any configuration. I can login via "authtest" and via IMAP no matter what case my letters have.

If the above is not true, you can use custom query string (have a look at the
end of authmysqlrc) and use something like
[...] WHERE account=LOWER('$(local_part)@$(domain)') [...]
But I think it should work without that.
