This is not the configure script in the current version of the courier-authlib package.

For starters, the extracted top-level directory name wouldn't be "authlib". It would be "courier-authlib-0.58".

Although I could probably guess exactly what you did, and how ancient is the decrepid code you're using, the correct answer for your problem is to stop using ancient, obsolete, and unmaintained code, download the current version of courier-authlib, and follow the instructions for building RPMs.
