Does anyone know why I would get this error when trying to restart
courier-imap?
# /etc/init.d/courier-imap restart
Stopping Courier IMAP server: imapd.
Starting Courier IMAP server:bind: Address already in use
ll_daemon_start: Resource temporarily unavailable
I also looked into my netstat to find out what was bound to port 143
# netstat -anp | grep 143
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:143 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
9635/couriertcpd
tcp 0 0 192.168.1.100:22 69.60.224.163:1431
ESTABLISHED16063/4
unix 2 [ ] DGRAM 413704
16143/courierlogger
I also checked the /etc/courier/imapd confing but I really don't see what
couseing the problem.
I guess I kinda am asking for trouble cause I just moved from Mandriva 10.2
to Debian 3.1 and uw-imap to courier-imap.
Any advice will bee good! Thanks
