Hi,

what is the courier-mta equivalent to posfix 'transport'?

In /etc/postfix/transport I have something like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] smtp:smtp.externalsmtp.com

It sends the mail to an external smtp server, even though localdomain.com is a locally hosted domain (listed in couriers 'locals' file)

You can put an alias into the alias file, for this local mail account. It's not exactly the same thing, though, you're basically replacing the recipient address.
