couple of options: 1) courier stop 2) create the unknown users 3) add a catchall account Other than that, you _want_ to give a 550, otherwise you're going to be accepting mail for a non existent user, and then have to bounce the message, and in the case of spam, you're going to be bouncing to a forged address aka generating backscatter, which will get you blacklisted, and at this time you might as well do courier stop because nobody will accept mail from you.
