Hi!

I need to drop eMails if I find a certain string in the message's body, but
only if the message is a
delivery status notification.

So far, as I'm just checking pcre patterns from withing maildroprc, I got to
write this:

server root # cat /etc/courier/maildroprc
logfile maildroplog.txt
if ( /^<<< 550 Sorry, recipient has no permission/:b )
{
log "message discarded"
exit
}

log "message accepted"
to $DEFAULT

the text I'm matching against is part of a DSN, yes, and the string is created
by me under special
circumstances by an smtp frontend I'm TEMPORARILY working with. So, what I'm
asking for here is just
a hack/workaround. Please don't ask "why?"s :)

I've tried all possible variants of this script, and I know for sure maildrop
IS being invoked, as
the maildroplog.txt file is created under each account's homedir. I'm using
userdb auth.

I even tried matching against some made-up word, and sending an email to the
system with that
made-up word inside, but to no avail.

What can be wrong?

I even used this syntax:

/pattern_here/:b
if ($MATCH eq "string")
{
blah
}

Any ideas?
