Hi, I'm running Debian Sarge with the courier packages from testing (0.53.3-2, compiled for sarge with pbuilder) but I have always had that problem with older versions as well, I think. It just never was much of an issue. My webmail daemon is the one coming with that courier version.
At the bottom of the root level page, right after login, it seems that I can create folders within the users maildir. Whenever I type a name like 'spam, Spam, test, abuse-filter' I get an error 'Invalid folder name. The logs show plain nothing. The only messages from webmail are login/logout events. Permissions on the filesystem level should be ok. I don't experience any other problems. All users are virtual running under the same user-id. Is there a way to raise the debug-level? In /etc/courier/sqwebmaild I can only see a debug option for the login. Don't really find much docu about webmail in general. There are two fields for creating folders: 'Create new folder' and 'create this folder in new directory'. Despite seemingly self-explanatory, I'm not quite sure how the latter is supposed to work or what it does. I tried both separate and together.
