Thanks, but a believe that the docs say that we're supposed to build these rpm's as user "courier", and to only use "root" when installing them. This has always worked before, and it also worked just now with the courier-authlib-0.58.20061112.tar.bz2 tarball. Actually, I have recently found the problem: operator error. Once I corrected this, the rpmbuild worked just fine.
